Terms of Use

Last updated: 30 August 2026

These terms govern your use of Roz — including the Roz app, this website, our mobile apps, and the Roz bot for Microsoft Teams. By using Roz you agree to these terms. If you're agreeing on behalf of an employer or organisation, you confirm you're authorised to bind them.

Who we are

Roz is a product of StitchAI Pty Ltd, a company registered in New South Wales, Australia. Contact us any time at hello@stitchai.com.au.

The service

Roz is a staff rostering platform. It lets managers build and publish rosters, and lets staff view shifts, request swaps and leave, and ask our AI assistant questions about their schedule. Features change as we improve the product.

Accounts and eligibility

You need an account to use Roz, created through our sign-in provider. You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. You must be old enough to work in your jurisdiction to hold a staff account. Access to a workspace is granted by that workspace's manager; if you connect through an invite link, you're joining your employer's workspace at their invitation.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse Roz. In particular, don't: break the law with it; access data or workspaces you're not authorised to; probe, scrape, or attack the service; upload malware; impersonate others; or use it to harass anyone. We may suspend accounts that do.

Roz and AI-generated answers

Roz's AI assistant is powered by a third-party AI model (Claude, from Anthropic). Its answers are generated automatically and may be incomplete or wrong. Treat them as assistance, not authority. Always confirm anything that matters — the published roster, your employer's records, and pay or entitlements — against the source of truth before relying on it. We aren't liable for decisions made solely on the assistant's output. See our Privacy Policy for what data it processes.

Microsoft Teams

If your organisation adds the Roz bot to Microsoft Teams, messages you send it in Teams are processed the same way as in the Roz app — to answer your rostering questions — and are subject to these terms and our Privacy Policy. You connect your Teams identity to Roz by pasting the invite link from your manager; until you do, the bot can only tell you how to connect. Your use of Microsoft Teams itself is also governed by Microsoft's own terms.

Fees, trials and billing

Paid plans and any free trial are described on our pricing page. Billing is handled by Stripe. Trials convert to a paid plan unless cancelled beforehand. Fees are in Australian dollars unless stated otherwise. We may change pricing with reasonable notice; changes don't affect the current paid period.

Your data

Roster and workspace data belongs to you or your employer. We handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. You're responsible for the accuracy of data you enter and for having the right to enter any staff details you provide.

Intellectual property

Roz and the software behind it are ours. These terms don't transfer any of our intellectual property to you. You keep ownership of the content and data you put into the service.

Availability and warranties

We work to keep Roz available and reliable, but we provide it "as is" and don't warrant it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from your reliance on the AI assistant's automated output. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can't be excluded; where our liability can be limited but not excluded, it's limited to resupplying the service or paying the cost of resupply.

Termination

You can stop using Roz at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms, or to protect the service or other users. On termination your right to use the service ends; data handling on account closure is covered in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. We'll change the "Last updated" date above, and flag material changes to active customers by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Roz after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
